I led the company's first data science team. We built dynamic pricing for a marketplace connecting healthcare workers with nursing homes.

2014 – 2021

AI Startup Founder

As co-founder and CEO of Skymind, I took the company through Y Combinator's Winter 2016 batch. We built the open-source AI framework Eclipse Deeplearning4j, grew to $4 million in annual revenue, and raised $18 million in venture funding. I then founded and led Pathmind, applying AI to supply chains and industrial operations before leading the team to Clipboard Health in 2021.

Startup Comms

I headed communications and recruiting at FutureAdvisor, joining as employee 12 and helping grow the team to more than 45 people. I also led communications at Celery, which helped startups take pre-orders after crowdfunding campaigns.

2006 – 2013

Journalist

Based in Paris, I was a reporter and editor at The New York Times, reporting for DealBook and editing at the International Herald Tribune. I then joined Bloomberg News as a deals team editor, reporting and editing stories on mergers and acquisitions.
